When should you use Free Hit in FPL?
Free Hit is best saved for a blank gameweek, a round where several of your players don't have a fixture at all, or a one-off double gameweek that doesn't line up with your long-term transfer plan. Since it reverts your squad back the following week, it's a one-round fix rather than a permanent upgrade.
Wildcard vs. Bench Boost vs. Triple Captain
Wildcard is for a full squad rebuild ahead of a run of good fixtures. Bench Boost pays off most in a double gameweek, when your bench players also get two fixtures. Triple Captain is strongest on a premium player with a double gameweek or a stand-out single fixture: the bigger the expected points gap, the more it's worth.
